Angelina Jolie sure has been looking skinny lately … and by lately we mean for the past several years. Now one tabloid claims it’s not just due to narcissism — it’s part of her philanthropic spirit.

When visiting suffering people around the world as part of her U.N. goodwill ambassador duties, the Oscar winner “puts herself on fasts to make statements for the children she visits,” a source explains to Us magazine.

“She says, ‘If they can’t eat, I can’t eat,’” relays the source, and “does different cleanses from around the world. It’s very dramatic, but that’s how she gets.”

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt, baby daddy of Angie’s six kids, allegedly frets about her frame.

“He’s worried about her and has made her see a zillion doctors, but they keep telling her she’s fine,” the source confides.

We doubt this story is actually true, but as fabricated tabloid tales go, it’s relatively convincing. Leave it to Angelina to disguise a typically unhealthy Hollywood-actress weight obsession as a statement about global poverty!
